Our latest Reverse Auction winner enjoyed a fantastic trip to Liege last week.
John Jarvis won the unique opportunity to travel with the team to Belgium ahead of the away leg of our UEFA Cup game against Standard Liege.
John, from Maghull, was the lucky winner of the UEFA auction after placing a bid of £5.04.
As well as winning two tickets for the match, he also got to meet the players, watch them train and take a tour of the dressing room, all topped-off with a stay in a luxury hotel!
On his return to England, John commented on his VIP experience: “It was absolutely fantastic. I was over the moon when I found out I had won.
“It really was a once in a life time opportunity. We met all the players and they were all really down to earth and kind. My wife got to hug Mikel Arteta and she thought that was great!
“We were looked after really well by Dave Harrison (Club Secretary) and Robert Elstone (Acting CEO).
“It was just the best experience an Evertonian could hope for. I will definitely have a go again next time.”
