Edwin Camilleri said he was "looking forward to a new challenge in my career" after the Malta Football Association announced he would replace Englishman Mark Miller as Under-21 coach.

New horizons
Camilleri, a former Hibernians FC player and 49-times Maltese international, moves up from the U19 team and told uefa.com: "It's a massive step and a new commitment which I am ready to put all my energies into." He will be assisted in the role by Charles Scerri, with Silvio Vella filling the newly vacated U19 post. Camilleri conceded his job change came with a tinge of sadness. "I leave my U19 boys with a degree of nostalgia," he said. "I have been building that team with great dedication for the last two years and I know their capabilities. I have been instructed to assist new coach Silvio Vella for another month before fully handing the reins to him." Miller quit the U21 position to take charge of Hibernians.
