Coventry striker Donovan Simmonds has joined Kilmarnock on loan for the first half of the season.
Jim Jefferies revealed earlier this month that the highly-rated teenager was training at Rugby Park.
Simmonds spent a month on loan at Gillingham towards the end of last season and he has now been sent out to gain some more experience.
He will stay with the Scottish Premier League club until 31st December and Jefferies is happy to have secured the deal.
"Donovan is extremely quick and looks a real prospect, so we decided to get him in on loan," Jefferies told the Daily Record.
"He gives me another attacking option."
