Summer shows slam into action
Charlton's Summer Slam schedule kicks into action this weekend at Bexley Council's Danson Festival.

The club's community team will be out in force at the event, which will run on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
As well as the Danson Festival on the Bexleyheath and Welling border, the Addicks will also be well represented at the Great Greenwich Get Together, which takes place on Blackheath on Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
As usual, everything provided by the club will be free of charge, and youngsters will be able to enjoy five-a-side football and inflatables.
There will also be exciting competitions with prizes to win, as well as the popular goodie bags, while it is planned to have a travelling Superstore at some of the largest events.
All activities are delivered on behalf of the football club by the Charlton Athletic Community Trust, and is the culmination of many months of internal planning.
The club has once again assembled a full programme of summer fun stretching from Greenwich in the west to Ramsgate on the East Kent coast.
During the school holiday period there will be a whole series of standalone events taking place in the Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley boroughs, as well as in many Kent districts.
The club will also feature prominently at the Kent County Show at Detling, (July 11th/12th/13th), the Thamesmead Festival (July 12th), the Dartford Festival (July 19th/20th), the Tonbridge Junior Football Fiesta (July 19th) and the Olympic handover event at the O2 in Greenwich on August 24th.
Aside from the major events listed above, the community team's summer fixture list looks like this:
