Cats draw Pools in semi-finals

A Sunderland XI will play Hartlepool United in the semi-finals of a pre-season tournament at Victoria Park next month.

Sunderland, Hartlepool, Huddersfield Town and Hamilton Academicals will take part in the Hartlepool Centeneray Tournament over the weekend of July 26/27.

And the draw, made earlier today, pitched together the two North-East teams.

The semi-finals will take place on the Saturday (July 26) with a third/fourth place play-off and final scheduled for the Sunday (July 27).

The semi-finals will be as follows:

Huddersfield Town v Hamilton Academical (12pm)
Hartlepool United v Sunderland Select XI (3pm)

Tickets for the tournament will go on sale at the Hartlepool United ticket office on Thursday June 26 (9am).

Hartlepool United have introduced some special prices for the tournament, meaning adults can watch the action at a rate of around £6 a match.

There are also great deals for concessions, who will pay less than £4 a game; while under-16s can watch every game for £10 - which works out at just £2.50 per match.

To take advantage of the special offers, tickets must be bought in advance from the HUFC ticket office.

Prices:
Adults - £15 per day (or £25 for both days).
Concessions (Students/senior citizens/Under 19s) - £10 (£15 for both days).
Under 16s - £10 (for weekend).
