Swansea City have confirmed the signings of Spanish duo Gorka Pintado and Jordi Gomez.

Pintado has joined the League One champions on a permanent deal from Granada, while Gomez has agreed a one-year loan from Espanyol.

Experienced striker Pintado will cost Swansea £100,000, plus further additions, and has accepted a long-term, performance-related deal at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans have stumped up £200,000 to win the chase for midfielder Gomez and manager Roberto Martinez expects the pair to make an impact next season.

"I can assure you that we've captured two quality signings,'' Martinez told the club's official website.

"They've got Championship quality written all over them.

"We've been watching the two players for the last two seasons and I'm absolutely delighted we've managed to persuade them to commit to Swansea City.

"They are typical Swansea City players in terms of quality, skill, attitude and desire.''
