Ladies Away At Gloucester City

After their success in the cup last Sunday, the Yeovil Town Ladies are back in League action this weekend, as they take on 5th placed Gloucester City Ladies.
With just two games to play in their league season, the Glovers are coming into a vital period, and are looking strong, still two points clear at the top of the table.
As things stand, the only team that can over take them are third place Penzance, who if they win their remaining matches will go a point ahead.
However, both teams play each other on the last day of the season at Huish Park, on Easter Sunday, with the contest very much the title decider.
Tomorrow's game is therefore vital for the ladies to win, so giving them the best possible chance of eventually taking the title - and not having to depend on other teams having to beat Penzance.

"We are on a high after last weekend's win." |
Looking forward to the game, Captain Sarah Lawler was in confident mood:
"We are on a high after last weekend's win in the Pat Sowden Cup," she said.
"It has the whole squad feeling buoyant, and we are up for a good battle on Sunday.
"We are playing well at the moment, and are looking to put in another good performance to bring home the points.
"This is a crucial game for us.
"If we win it, then things are nicely poised for the visit of Penzance on the last day of the season.
"We are more than capable of winning both matches, and will accept nothing less than championship success."

This weekend's match takes place on Sunday, and kicks off at 2.00pm at Meadow Park in Gloucester.
